This Privacy Policy explains how Aaron Jarnagin ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit aaronjarnagin.com (the "Site") or contact me through it.

Information I collect

  • Information you give me. When you use the contact form, I collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message.
  • Usage information. Like most websites, my host and analytics tools may automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site.

How I use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project.
  • To understand how the Site is used so I can improve it.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

I do not sell your personal information.

Tools and third parties

I use a small number of trusted services to run this Site. They process data on my behalf and only as needed:

  • Formspree processes contact-form submissions and forwards them to me.
  • Google Analytics measures Site traffic, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and their general region and device type. It uses cookies to tell visits apart and does not give me your name or contact details.
  • Sevalla / Kinsta hosts the Site and keeps standard server logs.
  • GeoJS (get.geojs.io) receives your IP address when the map on the homepage comes into view, and returns an approximate city so the "Your brand here" pin can sit near you. That location is kept only in your browser for the current visit; I don't store it.

Cookies

The Site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic, and your browser's session storage to remember your approximate location for the homepage map during a visit. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The Site works the same either way.

Data retention

I keep contact submissions only as long as needed to correspond with you and for reasonable record-keeping, then delete them.

Your choices

You may ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with me. Just email aaron@aaronjarnagin.com and I'll take care of it.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
